Checking out their new album, This Is Happening, now. Sounds pretty good, some old sounds some new sounds. I might need a few listens to get familiar with the songs. ALSO I'm picking up Broken Social Scene's new album Forgiveness Rock Record as I type. This I am excited for.
Sooo, not overly descriptive, but I'm trying to get used to the idea of writing my words and thoughts and so on, so that fact that I'm even posting was pretty much the point. Yay me!
I listened to Fang Island's self titled album for the first time the other day, they have a truely awesome sound, especially on first listening. It's like so many bands I love all mixed into one. I don't really like categorizing music, I feel like I'll get it wrong or will somehow miss lead, but I can say they are talented musicians. Worth checking out for surely.
So I'm hoping this will eventually have some structure to it that I feel comfortable with, until then all everyone will just have to bear with me, or come back in a year and see if anything has changed. I leave this decision up to you.
OMG this song keeps saying in the lyrics it can change it can change, and I was just typing/thinking about my blog changing and I noticed it and said OMG etc.

hello world of internets
Hello, my name is Jared. I listen to music and enjoy finding new music, and then sharing this music with friends. And now I can share music with every body else.
So I'm not entirely sure where this will go in the future, but I will post on here when I find new music I love, or when it strikes me to talk about old music I love. I imagine I will also throw up the occasional music video that catches my fancy and I might even write the occasional nonmusic/fictional post. Only time will tell and time has not yet spoken up.
I'd like to try and describe my musical tastes here, but I will likely miss some detail or be misleading somehow, so I'll just let the future blog posts speak for themselves. Hey, that's time not telling us anything yet again! I don't expect you to like all of the music I write about, but YOU WILL LIKE MOST OF IT. Unless you suck, in which case I don't want to know you.
